The Gualcamayo mine in the Jáchal Department and the repository of drill core samples from Los Azules and Pachón projects in the Calingasta Department will be visited. The objective of the trip is to conduct a technical tour focused on introducing concepts of economic geology through visits to world-class mines and projects. The activity will allow participants to observe different lithological units, alteration styles, and mineralization associated with epithermal and porphyry copper systems in drill core samples, while also promoting the exchange of experiences and interaction among professionals from different areas of geology and mining.
