New deadline for abstract submissions: December 31

The XXIII Congreso Geológico Argentino has extended the deadline for abstract submissions to December 31, 2026, giving participants more time to contribute to the scientific program of this new edition.

Submissions may be presented within the different symposia and technical sessions that will be part of the Congress, to be held from April 19 to 23, 2027, in San Juan, Argentina. These spaces will bring together contributions from a wide range of geoscience disciplines and will provide key opportunities for exchange among researchers, professionals, faculty members, and students throughout the event.

The new deadline will allow the Congress to continue receiving contributions from the national and international geoscience community and to broaden participation in a program that seeks to reflect the diversity of research areas, experiences, and current challenges related to the Earth Sciences.

For an abstract to be accepted, a minimum number of its authors must be registered for the Congress. If the total number of authors is even, at least half must be registered. If the total number is odd, half plus one must be registered.

Those preparing their contributions can review the submission guidelines, formatting requirements, and procedures at congresogeologico.org.ar/resumenes/.

The new deadline for abstract submission is December 31, 2026.

For questions related to abstract submissions, please contact resumenes@congresogeologico.org.ar.

The XXIII Congreso Geológico Argentino invites the geoscience community to submit their work and take part in five days of scientific exchange, discussion, and collaboration in San Juan.
