The objective of this trip is to introduce concepts of economic geology through the review of drill core samples, observation of mineralized intercepts, and identification of lithologies, alteration, and mineralization styles associated with Andean copper systems. We will visit the repository of drill core samples of the Jose María, Lunahuasi, and Altar mining projects.
