Mining is one of the productive activities with the greatest potential to transform territories from economic, social, environmental and scientific perspectives. At the same time, its development presents challenges that require critical and interdisciplinary analysis.
This roundtable will provide a forum for dialogue among academic experts, industry representatives, government agencies and other stakeholders, to discuss the real impact of mining on local territories and its contribution to the sustainable development of surrounding communities.
