It examines their internal organization, stratigraphic architecture, and evolutionary controls, with emphasis on sedimentary processes and basin-scale dynamics.
Special attention is given to the implications of fluvial systems for hydrocarbon exploration and production, highlighting their reservoir potential and associated predictive models.
