This pre-conference course is designed for Earth science professionals, including geologists, geophysicists, petroleum engineers, and geotechnical engineers. It provides a comprehensive foundation in sandstone petrology, integrating fundamental concepts with applied perspectives relevant to both academic research and industry practice.
The course is structured around asynchronous virtual lectures complemented by live synchronous consultation sessions, allowing participants to engage with the material flexibly while maintaining direct interaction with the instructor. During the conference, an integrative session will be held to synthesize and consolidate the key topics addressed throughout the course.
