Registration instructions
Registration for the XXIII Argentine Geological Congress (XXIII CGA) is carried out by completing the online Registration Form available on this website. The form must be completed with the personal and contact information of each participant, selecting the corresponding category.
Once the form has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation of receipt at the email address provided. Please note that registration will only be considered complete once the corresponding payment has been verified.

To finalize registration, the corresponding fee must be paid following the instructions below.
Registration fees are differentiated by category and payment dates. The tables below show values in United States dollars (USD) for residents in Argentina and for non-residents.

Payment Methods
Registration payment may be made through the following methods:
Bank transfer or bank deposit prior to the Congress (recommended).
On-site payment during the Congress at the registration desk.
Paying in advance is recommended to speed up on-site accreditation and ensure inclusion in the Congress system.
Additionally, upon request, registration fees may be paid in up to two consecutive monthly installments, provided that both payments are completed within the same registration period. For example, a Non-Member Resident in Argentina may pay the registration fee in two installments of USD 90 during the Early Bird period (until June 30, 2026).

Code of Conduct
The XXIII Argentine Geological Congress (XXIII CGA) is a space dedicated to meeting, exchange, and the collective construction of knowledge. To ensure a cordial, respectful, and safe environment for all participants, we have established the following Code of Conduct, which reflects the values that support our scientific community.
Respect and Professional Conduct
All participants — including authors, speakers, moderators, organizers, students, and attendees — are expected to maintain respectful, professional, and collaborative behavior always. The diversity of ideas, perspectives, and experiences enriches scientific debate; therefore, every exchange shall take place in a climate of tolerance, empathy, and consideration.
Inclusive Environment Free of Discrimination
The meeting promotes an inclusive and equitable environment, free from all forms of discrimination and harassment. Offensive behavior, harassment, verbal or physical aggression, or actions that undermine the dignity of individuals based on gender, sexual orientation, age, origin, nationality, religion, physical condition, institutional or political affiliation, or any other personal characteristic will not be tolerated.
Conduct During Activities
During lectures, oral sessions, poster presentations, and social or field activities, behavior shall reflect the academic and scientific spirit of the event.
Participants are asked to refrain from making inappropriate interruptions, using disrespectful language, or making derogatory comments. Questions and observations must always be expressed constructively.
Electronic devices should be turned off or set to silent mode during oral presentations to avoid distractions.
Shared Spaces
The meeting takes place in various physical and virtual spaces for interaction. All participants are invited to respect usage rules, keep areas clean, and take care of the facilities and resources provided by the organization.
Reporting Conduct Violations
If you experience, witness, or become aware of any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, you are encouraged to report it as soon as possible through one of the following channels:
● In person to any member of the Organizing Committee or designated staff
● Through a confidential online form (to be provided before the event)
● In urgent situations, go directly to on-site security personnel or authorities
Confidentiality and Protection
All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality to the greatest extent possible.
Response Procedure
Upon receiving a report, the Organizing Committee will:
1. Acknowledge receipt of the report
2. Evaluate the situation and gather relevant information
3. Take appropriate action, which may include mediation, warnings, removal from activities, or expulsion from the CGAXXIII without refund
4. Inform the reporting individual, when appropriate, of actions taken

If an immediate threat to personal safety exists, please contact local emergency services or the venue’s security personnel.
